In 2005 the JBIFC will be releasing a new quaterly club magazine. More details to follow…

The JBIFC’s publication from 1979 – 2004,
‘OO7’ MAGAZINE, has been published in its present A4 48-page format since 1983, and all its 40 back issues are now out of print, making them highly prized (and highly priced) collectables in their own right.

In the past, various issues of ‘OO7’ MAGAZINE have covered each new James Bond film on its release, and have also devoted complete issues to a definitive look at the films – Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale.

Issues of ‘OO7’ MAGAZINE have also featured interviews with George Lazenby, Roger Moore; Timothy Dalton; Moneypennys – Lois Maxwell, Samantha Bond, and Pamela Salem; Bond Girl Izabella Scorupco; directors Lewis Gilbert, John Glen; production designers Ken Adam, Syd Cain, Peter Lamont; Bond authors Kingsley Amis and John Gardner; stunt arranger Simon Crane.

Other ‘OO7’ MAGAZINE articles have included a detailed look at the Bond villains of both the films and the novels; The Illustrated James Bond – a definitive history of how the oo7 character has been visualised in newspapers, comic strips and book covers from the 1950s through to the present day – and of course, articles relating to the man who started the whole James Bond phenomenon – author Ian Fleming.

‘OO7’ MAGAZINE has been responsible for originally unearthing many of the facts behind the making of the Bond movies and Bond phenomenon that have now entered into ‘the public domain’: Lost scenes from the movies the dubbing (re-voicing) of many of the original Bond girls and villains
the TV version of CASINO ROYALE starring Barry Nelson as ‘card sharp’ Jimmy Bond – an American secret agent!
– and much much more.

Over the decades ‘OO7’ MAGAZINE has been pleased to showcase the work of a variety of talented writers and illustrators including: Raymond Benson, Greg Bechtloff, Lee Pfeiffer, David Giammarco, Dave Worrall, Tim Greaves, Terry Adlam, Lancelot Narayan, Mark Thompson, Matthew Field, Ajay Chowdhury, Andrew Pilkington, Fred Bryant, Ace Atkins, Kevin Harper, and Mark Ashby, Gerry Dolan, Philip Cornell, George Almond.

With a selection of exclusive interviews set for the future and a host of other interesting articles accompanied with rare and never-before-seen photographs, ‘OO7’ MAGAZINE is set to entertain, educate, and amuse James Bond enthusiasts for years to come.
